Julie Kellman is a senior human resources professional with over twenty years of global experience managing all facets of human resources. Julie attended the University of Iowa where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Literature, Science and the Arts. She then earned her MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Throughout her career, Julie has dedicated herself to serving as a strategic business partner and change agent for her employers. She is passionate about translating business strategy into actionable initiatives.

Julie is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) as well as a Certified Compensation Professional. She has worked independently in the past, but Julie currently works as the Director of Human Resources at Dairy Management Inc., in Rosemount, IL. Julie is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, WorldatWork, and the International Association of Business Communicators.

Beyond her professional success, Julie also enjoys a full and active personal life. She is an avid reader, a lover of dogs, and a huge Chicago sports fan.

Julie was personally affected by the transplant center at Northwestern Medicine when her husband needed a transplant over 10 years ago. Julie’s husband received a kidney/pancreas transplant from a cadaver at Northwestern in 2002, and then received a kidney from Julie herself in 2006. After her and her husband’s experience with Northwestern Medicine, Julie says that the team members at the hospital are her heroes.

“I want to increase organ donor awareness and improve education so that no one has to wait for an organ if they need one,” Julie has said.  She is dedicated to helping NMTAC raise funds to make this dream a reality. Julie believes in the hard work and research that is being done at Northwestern Medicine and hopes to help facilitate future successes through the fundraising efforts she is involved in with NMTAC.
