Dan Dickinson serves as Chairman of the Northwestern Medicine Transplant Advisory Council (NMTAC), bringing his years of business acumen as well as his personal experience as a liver transplant recipient to the organization.
A graduate of Western Illinois University, Dickinson had his pilot license and had earned his commercial flying rating even before graduating from college. He has spent his long and prestigious business career in the aviation industry, improving standards and building an excellent reputation for himself and his companies. Dan currently serves as the Chairman of INAV Group, LLC and G.A.S Capital. He is also a founding member of the National Aircraft Resale Association and has served on St. Norbert College’s Board of Trustees and Executive Committee since 1997.
Dan brings his immense business expertise, philanthropic fundraising knowledge, and personal drive to his role as Chairman of the NMHTAC. He also brings personal passion. Dickinson received a liver transplant through the CTC in 2011 and ever since he has strived to promote and support the life-saving care offered by Northwestern Medicine.
By helping the CTC raise the money that it needs to continue its research and expand patient care, Dickinson has helped create a system of success.
As Chairman, Dickinson leads the NMTAC in achieving its goals: raising funds to support the CTC’s initiatives and developing lasting relationships with the group’s donor base to establish a culture of philanthropy within the CTC community.
In addition to his business and philanthropic pursuits, Dickinson enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, and boating.
It has become my passion to help other transplant patients. It’s my way of paying forward the amazing care that I received from the transplant team.
